My 10 years old (French) students when they realized that your cockerels crowed, "Cock-a-doodle-doo!" (and not cocorico) :

MIND = BLOWN


TEACHER MIND = LAUGHS (but tries to explain that no, the English cockerels don't really make a different sound) (success unsure)

REVIEWER MIND = CLUELESS

Pretty cute story about one very confused chicken. Worked well for a farm-themed storytime.
