This was an absolutely wonderful book!! Daisy Fay is hilarious, as well as the other characters. Her father is a riot (besides the whole alcoholic thing)!! I did not want this book to end. I highly recommend this book!!

I read this years ago, and have never been able to forget it. I just loved this book, and I don't think anything Fannie Flagg has written since has been as good or as memorable.

I laughed out loud as I read this book. Very funny, and a nice good read.

I found a Fannie Flagg I hadn't read yet and it turned out it was her first novel! It wasn't as good as her others, but I still enjoyed it. The first half especially read like the Judy Blume novels of my youth (think Sally J. Freedman type character/narrator).

Too much information going on that I can't keep up with what is going on. I really wanted to like this book because I loved others book of this write, but that didn't work out. Not my type of book.
