This must be best story about body snatching I ever read.

When professor collapses during the class in Arkham's Miskatonic University he is placed under close monitoring and care. Five years later he awakens totally oblivious of time passed. As he recuperates strange memories of times past and future start to flash in his mind and he starts the search for mysterious locations haunting his mind.

Entire concept is truly great. Wont go into details here because it would be major spoiler but artist truly managed to bring the strange events from Lovecraft's novels to life.

Highly recommended to all fans of horror and especially Lovecraft.

A Lovecraft character with identifiable traits(?) and emotions(?) gets thrown into HP’s greatest hits album. cool

I need a 3.5 star rating to give the actual story by Lovecraft. This graphic is definitely worth a 4/5 because it flows, the art is good and it had better visualization for me. I am a dumb comic nerd. I need pictures to read ok? Anyway I really enjoyed the art and how it played out much of the horrifying moments in the underground abyss with almost no words at all. It like the story left me wanting so much more though. And I know I will never get it. Unless a tv series or movie comes along and some how adds to the story without ruining it.
I would watch an H.P. Lovecraft series Netflix... I know you are reading my reviews! Make it happen you sexy media animals!
Pick up this graphic novel! Read the actual story for as free as you can get it. Dont be like me and pay a bunch of money for a 65 page story. Buy the H.P. compliation at B&N thats what I should have done :/

love you monsters,
Justin

Culbard's strongest adaptation.
The Shadow Out of Time is a compelling, well drawn and engrossing tale about time, space, the cost of acquiring knowledge.
Culbard seems to have really hit his stride in this one. His chosen style is consistent and while the mosnters are not always frightening or memorable, they do offer up a proper quota of the grotesque.
Not sure about the halo for the flashlight, but overall, a commendable adaptation.

This one was very well done. Art is excellent, and Culbard's slight changes to the story add a lot. Rather chilling at a couple points.
