Madeleine miller’s magic with her writing never fails to impress! Reading this story was like reading poetry.
I remember the tale of Galatea, as a minor character. It was nice to see how miller “bought her to life” (twice, if you get it). I feel for her, and also her plight for the short life she lives.

What's not to like about a feminist retelling? I just wish it was longer.
