And Murakami did it again. I enjoy it tremendously, but I can't find the right word to express my opinions right after reading. Is it "intrigued"? Satisfied? I don't know. Knowing how I read Murakami, this book will probably be re-read. There are 7 stories, each tells the lives of the men without women (obviously). Some stories have a touch of fantasy, while most deal with the mundane lives of ordinary men. I read the book in English, but I think the translation from Japanese is Murakami-enough: funny and sharp.

still formulating my thoughts but i found the collection somewhat lacking (?) not sure what exactly id expected from Murakami but the collection definitely pushed me to read his longer works despite not particularly connecting with the stories

A solidão é uma experiência coletiva e por vezes partilhada. Podemos-nos sentir sozinhos mas isso não é verdade. Nem nesse sentimento o estamos.
