There’s so much stuff going on, and who is on who’s side changes faster than I’m changing my underwear. Winry’s courage and they way she talks back to Ed more and more makes me happy. She’s so much stronger than what they give her credit for!

After the last one, I wasn’t as positive I’d enjoy this, but I definitely did.

I’m glad they’re giving Winry more of a role, as much as I’m worried about her interacting with Scar. The team so split up more than they’ve been in a while. Winry on her own, Alphonse on his own mission, and Ed left behind with Gen Armstrong’s men, Marcoh and May.

SpoilerThe scene between Winry and Scar is interesting. As was the scene between Scar and Gen Armstrong’s man that was part Ishbalan. It’s a complicated take to say working for the military that killed your people is a way to build a bridge. He essentially says he wants to change the way Amestrians look as Ishbalans and working for the military that hurt them seems to harm Ishbalans tbh. Sure, maybe you change the mind of an Amestrian, but the Ishbalans won’t trust you.
