Good read!

I enjoyed this book. I stopped on book 15 a few years back but the flame has been reignited with this book.

3.5 stars.

Bump up because the girls actually worked together at the 11th hour of the book to crack a case and that's seemingly the point of the WMC.

I thought the cases in this book were a bit boring. The trial that took up a big chunk of the book was idiotic. But at least Lindsay stopped acting like an idiot with Joe. For now anyway.
I'm looking forward to the release of 17. I just hope it's an improvement. 16 was the worst book in this series in my opinion.

This one was just okay. I prefer several cases where at least one of them results in justice. Well, the way it ended can count as justice I guess but I hate how Yuki and Red Dog got their asses handed to them in court and they never really figured out who this nut job really was. Anyways, anyone else tired of Lindsey’s love life? At this point I wish she would move on from Joe’s lying ass. Baby you can be a bad ass single mom.

Lindsay Boxer is having dinner with her estranged husband when a bomb goes off nearby. She needs to solve this case, which killed 25 people, as well as another case of mysterious deaths. The relationship between Joe and Lindsay, and how to work through it, was not completely fleshed out, in my opinion. There are still many unanswered questions about Joe's past. The crime regarding the bomber had some confusion at the ending-someone on the roof, and then, in their bed??? Not sure what happened there, but it seemed mixed up to me.
Not my favorite of the Women's Murder Club series.
