Whereas Wool 2 was a little slower with its descriptions of Silo life, and learning a little more about the inner workings of the place, Wool 3 picks up the pace quite a bit. I won't summarize since a million others have done so already, but I had a really hard time putting this one down. I immediately started Wool 4 upon completion of this book, and am overall just loving this series. I'm so, so glad I stepped out of my 'normal reading' zone to read this series. I've been recommending it to pretty much everyone I know.

And this is the book where the plot really starts taking off. I like Jules just as much as I thought I would, and am just so thrilled to be following her into another book.
I would also like to say that if Bernard doesn't die at the end of this I'm going to be very put out.

And we dive deeper into the story. It is a short book, like the others, and has a nice level of suspense... even though I want to shake the main character into realizing what's obvious to the reader. She can't hear me when I yell at her, though.
And that last line makes sure I'll read the next one. Too many unknowns still exist, and I've been given enough bait to keep me hooked.

An excellent continuation of the series with lots of things to make a girl think.

perfect title because i will be casting off this series after a third book in a row that is boring as sin until the last couple pages
Short review: The third story in the Wool series takes yet a third main character.

Questions are asked, secrets are revealed, tension builds. What else exactly is out there? This is where Wool really hits its stride and settles into its groove -- like the cog of a well-oiled gear.
I love Howey. In a short story, you have to hustle along the plot - you don't have time to dally or your story stinks - Howey nails it. Every moment of this series, I'm on the edge of my damn seat. Every moment.
