There were enjoyable parts, however the style was difficult for me (no chapters, and lots of flipping between times etc).

Translated from German. Narrator Kasih tells it as it is about racism faced by refugees and migrants in Germany, the alarming rise of far right groups and parties. She and two of her close friends, Hani and Saya, grew up in a 'ghetto' town and are reunited years later by a former fellow estate's wedding. This novel contains some uncomfortable truths and at times addresses the reader directly. It questions readers' assumptions, prejudice and privilege.
