I only read the Jim Butcher story. I do really like the ones about the Forest People.

Blood Lite is an anthology of light horror stories. Many of the stories use humor to temper the horror aspects of the story. The collection includes some stories that take place in popular series, such as The Dresden Files and The Women of the Underworld, as well as stories by lesser known authors. Although I am a fan of short story anthologies, there were only one or two in this anthology that I really liked. My favorite story was "Hell in a Handbasket" by Lucien Soulban where the Angel, Haniel, plays a practical joke on the demons in Hell. For most of the book, though, I found myself wondering when the story was going to be over, which isn't a good sign when they are so short to begin with.

I grabbed this anthology because it has a story by Jim Butcher about Bigfoot. It was fun! I read a whole bunch of other stories and some of them impressed me more than others. I now know that I should perhaps try out some Sherrilyn Kenyon, because her story was really fun. Also, this anthology confirmed my suspicions that I should not touch any Kelly Armstrong - too much PWP sexiness. Overall, neat compilation.
