This rating and review is only for 'The Greatest Day' by Eric Choi. (Explanation below)

Well I went into this with some trepidation. The aim here is to reimagine the Columbia Spacecraft reentry disaster and I had my fingers crossed that it wouldn't come across disrespectfully. Thankfully it didn't, in fact to me it seemed to honour all of the key people involved. The team at NASA flight control get hold of some spy plane images which allow them to properly assess the damage and come up with a few potential rescue operations. It's not all rosy, they don't have success with every idea and the ending is not fairytale certified. The story is about the passion with which the people involved work to achieve the best possible outcome. I'm not sure exactly which detail was switched to begin the alternate history and actually I like it that way.

**While I sort out how I'm going to get a hold of these magazines in Australia without ordering direct from the US and having to pay too much for shipping on every issue, I've decided to check out the stories that are available for free on the podcast. I have some back orders on their way over already and I will add reviews for the other stories when I get a copy to hold.
