The newest Justice Jones, and this time miscommunication, a mystery, a kidnapping, and tons of fun!

A new term is here and I was so hyped when I saw this book at the library! This series is just so fun. Historical fiction x boarding school x mystery. Sign me up any day!

The mystery was fab, it took quite long before it all started, but I didn’t mind that the rest of the book was also fun with boarding school stuff, some weird things happening, and more. But the mystery? When it started? YES! A kidnapping. Mysterious letters made with words for Justice’s mom her books. Codes and secrets. Who is the culprit and why? I just loved that Justice tried to help out and got more entangled as things went on. In her defence, she did try to observe, but hey, she is Justice and things just grab her. XD

But I just wasn’t a fan of Letitia in the beginning. I get it you want to be friends and such, but friendship doesn’t come by stalking people, just inserting yourself in the group without any consideration whatsoever. Later on I could see she was a sweetheart and really tried her best and I hope we see more of her in the next installations. I loved how she allowed Justice to come along to her home and even helped her get over her fear of horses!

I also wasn’t a fan of the miscommunication trope. Both Dorothy and Stella are not my favourites in this one. Instead of talking and just airing it all, I mean, Justice has told you Dorothy that Letitia FOLLOWED her, and yes, maybe she could have said something when a mystery appeared, but to be so huffy about it? Ridiculous. Same for Stella, who is apparently not having it that Justice is being followed and friended by Letitia. Heaven’s forbid that your best friend has yet another friend. rolls eyes.

Oh, and I was surprised by Helena!

I was absolutely delighted with the ending. One it was exciting because everything got together and the mystery was solved, but also something else happened that made me smile! I won’t spoil it of course.

All in all, I need more of Justice Jones and her friends. I am curious what is next. What mystery is to be solved. And if the school ever will
Spoiler choose a matron without the added evil plans .

This is suitable for younger readers and at just under 200 pages it’s a short, snappy read. An easy read. But one full of mystery, Adventure and detective skills. This is book three in a series which I didn’t know at the time but reads well as a Standalone.
The story focuses on the main character Justice. Set at a boarding school wierd things begin to happen and the new girl goes missing… presumed kidnapped. Plenty of twists and turns to this outcome. A great little mystery/detective read for younger ones. Brilliantly written. I loved it. Devoured it. Highly recommend. A well deserved four stars from me.

Not quite as good as the first two, but still a very enjoyable read.

Damn I really love this series! It is so good 😍 I really liked this one, I didn’t really like litita in the begining but she grows on you😅 and that endning? I honestly shed a tear or 2 🥲  I can’t wait to read the next one and see what kind of trouble she gets into!

Loved it! Each one is a little better than the last. It was atmospheric and had just enough teenage angst. I wish the books could be a little longer so we could get a fuller picture of Justice's dad and Miss de Vere!
