This is a very simple, straight forward story of barn animals on the farm. There are opportunities for animal sounds to make with the kids.

I did not like the flow of this book however. It was awkward to read aloud and flip through. I suppose

Loved the rhythmic, rhyming text of this book about barn animals.

Big Red Barn by Margaret Wise Brown
Love these books that i didn't know existed. They are so much fun to imagine.
This book has alternating children tell a few lines of each page.
Rhyming children's story and I can imagine the colors of the pages.
Story is of a day at the farm and there are so many animals to talk about.
I received this book from National Library Service for my BARD (Braille Audio Reading Device).

The story covers all the farm animals but the pictures aren't big enough to catch a baby's attention. I dunno if this is meant for toddlers.

My 1 year old nephew loves this book! It drives me crazy though. Such odd word choices.
