I forgot how much I preferred the moment between Magnus and Alec in this part of the book compared to a certain scene in the tv show. And I’m continuing to enjoy seeing the story Clare originally wrote retold with such gorgeous drawings.

So far, this might be my favorite of the graphic novels. I especially love the cover art for this volume. Simon's design, especially, is very eye-catching. The ending is VERY rushed, but the rest of the book captures the entire essence of the second book and it felt like I was reading the novel all over again. Also, I just love LOVE Maia's character design. And I dunno, y'all. Luke is just extra handsome to me in these graphic novels...Like, damn.
