Fantastic insight into the origins of Azeroth and the Warcraft universe. Well written and paced.

Me encanta conocer más sobre mi universo favorito, aunque sentí que fue demasiado acotado para tratarse de las crónicas, que se supone que debe explorar todos los sucesos de este mundo.

A fun stroll through the history of the world Warcraft inhabits.

A history of the Warcraft universe, it codifies and clarifies 25 years of lore haphazardly piled on top of itself. As many retcons as it contains, it does a remarkable job of untangling the snarled history of the first three Warcraft games, the 11 year history of World of Warcraft, and all the various tie in books and comics, just in time for the movie.

Non World of Warcraft players won't care, but this is a great review of the lore before the games began. Can't wait for Volume 2.

I loved it, because I am very interested in the lore of Warcraft. It's a beautiful book, with gorgeous art and beautiful maps. It really pulls it all together. However, not everyone will enjoy this book. It's not really fiction but reads more like a history book, detailing the creation of the universe Azeroth is in, the different cosmological forces in that universe before switching to Azeroth's history.

It's certainly deepened my love for lore-significant elements like Ulduar, but also Mists of Pandaria in total. That expansion had the richest lore, and I will never cease to defend it from all the haters who mostly dislike it because it had kung-fu pandas.

If you are interested in the stories and don't mind reading somewhat dry history, here you can find out a lot about what we're heading for in the next patches of the game, with information about Suramar, the Tomb of Sargeras and Argus.

For avid fans of the amazing and outstanding world that is "World of Warcraft" this is the best way to get started. Amazing description of the most marvelous stories and epic battles the heroes( and villains) we love fought and the way they impacted the immense planet azeroth. Great reading, always thrilling and excited to read and learn more about the lore. Simplistic and yet meticulous story telling, ending right before the dark portal events, leaving us with the hype for the next volume, can't wait!
