More depth than I would have expected from a children's graphic novel! Things don't resolve in a nice tidy bow, things progress organically, the new characters we meet are unique and well thought out: it's all there! Can't wait to dive into book three.

I think these books are okay, but I don't love them. They're super creative, beautifully drawn, and have a lot of interesting characters, but for some reason they don't resonate all that much with me. I wanted to read this second installment to see if it would capture my interest more than the previous one, but it didn't. I'm not sure whether I'll continue with the series, but I can understand why it speaks to other people more than it does to me.

It was really good I recommend it to everyone who loves adventure as I said on the last one and I am so exited for the next one

My son and I read the first book in this graphic novel series a few months ago. He finds it "a little weird" but didn't want us to stop reading it. :)
