It took me too long to finish this book, mostly due to library loan timing and the distraction of other books, but oh. my. god. The overall concept of the story was so intriguing, and how well thought out the concept of the cafe was. Every time I was reading, I was able to vividly see the cafe in my head, and could probably draw a picture of it. I think four separate shorter stories was a great way to format the book, and allowed for each story to have its own time to shine. I’m giving it 4 stars because I wasn’t a huge fan of the first chapter/story, but the others I was so invested. I fully intend on reading the rest of the series (and not taking months to finish it)

This book was super cozy, like sitting in a cafe and drinking a cup of coffee. I wasn’t a fan of the writing style, but I think that came down to translation.

The premise is interesting and some of the characters grew on me. The pacing felt slow and overall it wasn't as engaging as I'd hoped.

Pace was way too slow. This book put me into a slump. Will not continue this series.
