This book was quite slow to get going, but from about 50% I was eager to read more and more. This is unlike many of Nicholas Spark's books, in that it focused on a relationship falling apart, as well as the relationship between a father and his daughter - a dynamic I much preferred. I really enjoyed the slower pace, just being inside the daily life of the characters. I also cried - a lot. I did feel the end was somewhat rushed and would've loved to have seen more of the Vivian/London story line played out.
