This review was originally posted on Star Crossed Reviews I think I may have just fell in love.... From the location to Tess to Kekipi to Nick.

Where do I start.

At first I felt like I might be cheating on Angela (I Heart series) a little bit but I soon realised Angela and Tess would be besties if they ever met.

Tess is a LOT like me. Firstly we are both big boobed, huge issue when it comes to shopping but lets not go there. I have also been the hopelessly in love girl that is waiting for the guy to realise she's the one, let me tell you it did not work out so well.

Anyway back to the story....When Tess arrives in Hawaii she meets Nick (the gorgeous journalist) and he does nothing but infuriate her from the minute she meets him.

Now I have a little confession. I am a little bit in love with Nick. I know he's a bad boy but I think that may be part of the fun.

I loved every page. I am a little sad I have finished already. I envy everyone who is yet to read this book.

It was funny, romantic and just down right loveable. I am excited that this will be a new series. I CANNOT wait for next summer and the release of What A Girl Wants.

(Lindsey if you read this I'm totes #TeamNick)

No, tohle bylo takové... prostě průměrné.

‘I never meant for things to get so out of hand. I’d lost my job. I’d lost the love of my life. My mum wasn’t talking to me. My best friend was epically pissed off. My flatmate probably had a hit out on me by now, and in twenty-four hours I would be homeless. But, you know, swings and roundabouts.’

These are the opening lines of About a Girl. How can you just not want to keep reading to find out how this poor girl is going to survive? And how on earth did she get herself into this mess?

Tess is a great character who is tired of her life and when an opportunity presents itself for her to shake things up in her life, why wouldn't she take advantage of that? The story is a great adventure as we see Tess trying to 'be' Vanessa and the predicaments she gets herself into.

‘”I find the more you get to know about a person, the more disappointed you end up,” he replied. “Right now, I like you, you like me, we’re having a good time. A very good time. I say we leave it at that before someone finds out something they don’t want to know.”’

When Tess is faced with some serious life choices, she isn't really sure what she wants anymore. And I'm not sure which direction I would advise her to take either. Luckily, Lindsey has a sequel planned for Tess, What a Girl Wants. I can't wait to read it and to venture back into Tess's world. I really need to find out which choice she made.

I loved it! And I love how all the books are connected through characters etc, but I really want a sequel so I can find out what happened to Tess

I really enjoyed most of the book, but I felt like several chapters dragged on for a bit too long. I loved Lindsey Kelk's writing style and I can't believe I haven't picked up one of her books sooner...something which I am going to rectify in the near future.

A fun read.

I'll write a proper review for this book when I have time, but for now:
This book was fabulous. Lindsey just gets better and better, and I cannot wait for What A Girl Wants next summer!

Also met Lindsey and got my copy signed earlier this month, she is so lovely!

I loved the I heart series. I really enjoyed this one. I would have given this one a higher rating but I spotted some glaring inaccuracies that I could not forgive.

Enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. Very easy, GOOD read. I read it in one night.
