Wonderful allegory of man's progress from baptism to Heaven and all the ups and downs life throws at him along the way. Very cute. Adding it to Broo's curriculum for the fall semester.

I am reading this book with my children. We read one chapter a night before bed. They love the routine, and they love the story. I can see this book becoming one that we return to many times to read through. As they get older, we'll move to the full version. I'm loving the story as well. The book reminds me of a song by Shai Linne titled "Penelope Judd." My kids really enjoy that song too, and they have even mentioned how the beginning of The Pilgrim's Progress is just like that song. C. S. Lewis once said, "A children's story that can only be enjoyed by children is not a good children's story in the slightest." To that I say, "Amen!" The Little Pilgrim's Progress exemplifies that a good children's story is greatly enjoyed by this adult.
