Watching hot mess Violet & sexy Ford attempt to dance around attraction was comical. Always A Bridesmaid is a fast paced insta love with hilarious scenes & very steamy intimate moments. I did find the storyline predictable, but the book is still enjoyable.

While the news is always serious lately, I needed a lighthearted distraction and found it here! I completely inhaled this romance and will definitely be backtracking to read book one in the series (more like companion books - I had no trouble following what was going on). So cute and it hit the spot!

Having read Just One of the Groomsmen recently, I was itching for this to be released so I could visit Uncertainty again with this crazy cast of characters.

Ford is wonderful. I feel like I know him, mostly because I have some friends who are a lot like him. There's something compelling about this bruised guy with a concerned, caring streak a mile wide. There really are only two speeds with him - all in or all out - and they fit his character.

Violet has her own charms, too. I would hate her distractedness but her kindness, her sincerity, and her determination to continue to find the positive and enjoy life despite the crap hands she keeps getting dealt would all make me want to be her friend. Though I'd probably join Addie in running for the hills during all the wedding/baby talk.

While this was clearly Ford and Violet's story, I appreciated how much their friends and family were involved. I adore Addie and Tucker so it was great to see them again and watch them continue to flourish. I wish Easton had had more of a roll to play here; I'm still eagerly awaiting his story.

I can't wait to share more adventures with this group!

It's good that we're getting more heroines in romance with ADHD. I feel that Cindi Madsen handled the topic well in Always a Bridesmaid capturing the frustration, guilt and self-doubt that accompanies the syndrome. I'm speaking as someone who deals with it myself. So kudos for tackling the subject.

I found Ford a little frustrating after a while and it was kind of sad that it took a certain event to clue him in that Violet was the fulfillment in his life that he had promised Doris he would seek out. The whole "being around a wedding giving him flop sweats" thing was a little over the top. Men, amiright?

I loved the women in this book, however, and their strong, supportive relationships. Always a Bridesmaid was a good, by-the-numbers romance that gets extra marks from me for handling the subject of a woman with ADHD with any amount of dexterity. I think most will enjoy this book as a light summer read.

I loved this book! I loved this group of friends in the first book and was so excited to get Ford’s story. Ford and Violet were the perfect set of main characters. They didn’t seem to have much in common on the surface but it didn’t take long for us to realize they were more alike than it seemed. I laughed and cried and definitely recommend this one! I cannot wait for Easton’s book!

I think I'll settle on 3.5 stars for this. These characters and this town are definitely super fun and it didn't take me long at all to pick up with them from the first book in this series (Also, after the way this one ended, I am super excited to read the third too). I really enjoyed Violet and Ford and this is exactly what I seek in a contemporary romance, so no complaints here.

Thank you to Edelweiss and the publisher for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

If you are looking for a book filled with puppies, friendship, humor, family, and romance, then this is the book for you.  This is the followup book to Just One of the Groomsmen but you don't have to read the first book to read this one.

Violet arrives in Uncertainty to nurse her wounds from a failed relationship and to help her sister Maisey fix up her bakery.  She didn't count on starting a fire and meeting Ford, one of the firefighters for the town, and falling for him.  He has his own issues when it comes to relationships and she was the last thing he expected when he responded to the call about the fire.

I laughed through the whole book.  I didn't mark any passages to share because I would have wanted to share the whole book.  There are some touching moments, times when the characters are at odds, and some spicy scenes to round out the book.  I thought it was brilliant to have Violet be so open about her ADHD and when one of the puppies training to be search and rescue dogs has the same affliction, she becomes attached to him and nicknames his Distracto before he is given his official name, Trouble.  Ford has issues and almost ruins a good thing by not following his heart and listening to others.  It's a guy thing, but thankfully his best friend is Addie Murphy and she helps set him straight.

The book does leave something of a cliffhanger regarding one of the friends, Easton.  I want to know his story but I'll have to wait.  sigh.

We give this book 5 paws up.

Always a Bridesmaid was a cute read. The hero is a firefighter. Yum! The heroine is in town visiting her sister and niece. Life has gotten her down. She is taking some time to be with family and help redesign her sister’s bakery. This book gave me all the small town romance vibes. Plus it has cute puppies. The characters have roots. Friends and family are woven throughout the book. I closed this book feeling light and happy with a smile on my face.

I voluntarily read an early copy.

This is filled with lots of sweet cuteness! There are puppies and babies involved afterall! :) Him and her both have an aversion to love. Her, because of a past relationship gone bad and him because of the environment he had while growing up. They both also seem to be the 'black sheep' not only of their families but also of the town. The outcasts if you will. Not really due to any fault of their own. Neither are looking for anything, but after constantly being thrown together, they form a friendship of sorts and slowly let the walls crumble around them, but only one will be strong enough to sweep away the rubble completely. Both are good, kind people. Both struggle with their own personal demons. There is a lot of humor throughout the book. Lots of awwww moments. The story flows smoothly and quickly. While the characters may have lots of internal turmoil, it is a light-hearted read. And as I mentioned, sweet. There is minimal sexual content. While this is a stand alone, it follows 'Just One of the Groomsmen' and you'll see many of the same characters.

*I received an ARC of this book from Netgalley.
