Amazing
I really was having a hard time with this book at first. I overcame my personal feelings and then could not put out down. Within 24 hrs I am on to book 2 and am so excited to see what happens when it is time for goodbye.

A tantalizing series full of more than just betrayal! Darling took a chance on a series that is taboo but wrote it so beautifully that even those averse to cheating will be flipping through the pages wanting more and needing to see how it ends!
The winding road of love isn’t always easy and can be painful but with forever as the reward you can continue to fight it or take what you can and forget the rest! Giselle and Sinclair took a chance and decided to leave everything as is when they walked away but life had others plans. Neither could change what took place and in the end they both had to decide “was it worth it?”

I had no place in his world. It was just as it had been all my life. I was a meteor in a universe of floating stars as bright and beautiful as diamonds, secure in their function and place while I zoomed by.
The Affair is the first book in the Evolution of Sin trilogy by Giana Darling. A taboo romance begins between Giselle and Sinclair on a Mexican holiday. Told from Giselle’s POV readers follow her journey from lust to love. It was only supposed to be one week… This introduction to sin couldn’t be sexier and is beautifully entertaining. You’ll be enchanted with this holiday romance between Sin and Elle and want to read straight through when this story ends.
“One week with a perfect stranger, no complications, no surprises. Just,” he turned my wrist over and feathered his fingers along the sensitive skin of my wrist where my pulse beat madly, “this.”

I really enjoyed this trilogy. I will admit to liking the second more than the first and the third more than the second. I really did like this couple

Series of Sin
I enjoyed these books so much. The passion, pain and consequences of Sinclair and Elle’s journey made it hard for me to put my iPad down.

Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. I love GD and I LOVE the Fallen Men series but this was just a big fat NO. Glorifying cheating now, are we? And that too, cheating with your older sister's fiancé? Fucking hell, that shit is NOT a romance...it's a straight up betrayal and fucked up on so many levels. I mean please, we've got enough men that make us women miserable irl, so can we please fucking not bring that into books as well?!?! Also I just realised that Giselle is a fucking two faced bitch who also happens to be Elena's sister. I absolutely loved Elena in the Anti Heroes in Love duet and my heart broke for her then and even now. You could say that I DNFed this book the moment I found out that it was about Giselle. Elena should really channel her inner Maddy Perez and beat that cunt up - I'd pay to see that shit lmaoooooo. Again, no hate to Giana, but I just didn't expect this from her...kinda disappointed and triggered since the cheating trope happens to be one of my worst triggers

Ugh. I am so angry that it ended the way it did. I did not enjoy reading this book. The spice was not written well. The plot, in concept was great, but execution was flawed. I thought Elle was brooding and cliche and Sinclair was aloof and patronizing.
I didn’t mind the affair trope, but it was very predictable.
Also, give me the cover of the book. Spice while covered in paint?! Now there’s your spice.
