Great feel good collection of short stories. Read as an audiobook and the voice actors were different for each story

I was debating rounding this down cause its a novella but ehhhh (I WILL NEVER ROUND DOWN RICKS BOOKS RAHHHHHH)

Also, despite Thor ALWAYS running through the worlds, i was always clueless. Throughout the whole book, Thor running by was described almost identically (something along the line of the ground shaking bc of LARGE stomps) and I would just constantly be trying to guess thors appearance before Rick outright mentions thor running by. (I always failed)

For example, in Macks, when she said "oh no big footsteps is that a frost giant oh nooooo" i was fully "oh noo"-ing with her, until Thor came farting through.

That REALLY made me frustrated cause i was READYYY to guess when thor was about to appear. So, i thought i was fully ready for Halfborns, and I WASNT ABLE TO CATCH THOR AGAIN ARGHH. Like, i thought it was too soon.

So, I was even more enraged and even more ready for Alexs'. (HAHAHHAHHAHH). yet THAT was the most clueless i've been?? Like, the signs were all there but i was so scared of Alex getting caught that i didnt really read into them.

I kinda read this hoping for Magnus and Alex content but oh well...
Halfborns POV was the most interesting one for me bc Rick usually writes in the humorous characters pov and reading halfborns pov where he is humorless (while finding the humorous one annoying) was WOW, like rick you got this side in you bro?

Anywayyyyy, this whole thing felt like losing a game time and time again but doing it again and again cause i was too stubborn. (In other words, IT WAS AMAZING I HAD SO MUCH FUN!!!!)

just a good time. i enjoy these little short stories that rick riordan does for all his series. it’s nice to be able to read little 10-15 page tales from the side characters after they got their happy ending! low stakes fun. i do wish magnus had been in it, at least a cameo in the alex story, but oh well

It was a silly goofy book with very short stories. I liked that we were in the head of all the characters a little bit

It's fun seeing my favorite side characters be the hero of some short stories. It's a cute way to continue the stories.
