I really enjoyed this book! It was fast paced and exciting. I was able to guess a lot of the twists that happened but I still really liked it overall!

This was a NetGally ARC book. It was also my first Crouch book. I had actually watched the first season of Wayward Pines and was disappointed in the corny spin of the story which eventually occurred following the intriguing mystery of the opening. Unfortunately this book followed in the same vein. Opening with some gripping action and wonder. Moving along until at the reveal my ultimate reaction was...oh...how unbelievably corny and stupid. I gave it one star above just okay however due to the pace of the story. At least I was able to finish it.
