Why am I crying over every single book TJ Klune writes?!
Also, why have I only found out about this amazing author the last year.

Wow. Just... wow.

Or as my sister said: yes it's emotional but at least you can feel the love and rainbows

What are you even doing with your life if you haven't read this? Just another beautifully written book by T.J. Klune.

I loved reading this book a lot more than my expectations for it had been. There were some things I hadn’t really accounted for (I should read book blurbs better), but all in all, I found it to be a lovely comfort read, a feel-good novel. Klune explores the concept of grief and death in quite an interesting and positive light throughout the book with lovable, fluffball characters. It felt almost like those fairytales from my childhood and a mix of A Man Called Ove and The Midnight Library. It also relays messages that grownups need reminders of.

I wouldn't be recommending this book to all, just to some that I personally know.

Wanted to like it more than I did. The romance didn't feel earned...

A bit slower than his other book that I read. Interesting take on after life.

Under the Whispering Door was really cute. I hypothesized it would be your typical Klune book, and it was, in the best way possible. I love the quirky, snarky mcs who eventually come around to be a loveable goof. The found family is so wholesome. Klune is amazing at blending scenes that have me rolling with laughter with scenes that handle much more serious topics.

A bit slow in the middle and the core messages were a bit repetitive and on the nose for me at times. But overall this is a cosy read. I really enjoyed Nelson and Apollo.
