This was fascinatingly human and queer and I loved it. This will be a classic because it has all the qualities: a complex tale of love, characters you both love and hate, and a seemingly random plot ripe with symbolism for your AP English teacher to harp on.

This may be a flawless novel. "Big Swiss" is the definition of clever--it's also somehow heartfelt and authentic even in its deep cynicism, somehow slapstick and refined both. Reminded me quite a lot of "Fleabag," but also so much it's own thing.
