Probably one of the best books I've read. Beautiful writing style and wonderful characters. I tend to stay away from WWII stories anymore, only because I feel like I've read so many and don't usually come away with anything new. This was a welcome and unexpected new experience.The only negative for me was the constant back and forth in the timeline. That tended to get confusing.

A very good book in my opinion, it is just a lot to take in. A lot happening in 2 different characters perspectives so a lot to keep track of when you're reading. Hard to put down and come back to because you'll forget what all happened if you're not careful lol.
