I hated every single character and was not rooting for the lovers. Writing was smug and thought it was more clever than it is. I did not enjoy reading this at all.

10 stars like seriously a 10 star read for me so beautifully written, and so much cute banter. i adore emily henry because she’s so literary fiction adjacent but i love her lovestorys are just written so well that you’re pulling for them to get that happily ever after soo passionately. the chemistry/ intensity the main characters feel towards each other was my favorite part of this book but it touches on friendship after college and growing up and apart and things changing but love persevering and i love that so sm. so i recommend this book a ton like one of my favorite books ever!!!

Mixed feelings about this one. I tried to like it but the romance part which is about 70% of this book fell flat. I did like some parts i.e the group’s friendship, engaging backstory, & the main character’s selft-discovery towards the end. But aside from those… a somewhat underwhelming read.

Sometimes the description of characters was a little hard to keep centered, sometimes it felt ambiguous entirely with things down to gender with characters but aside from that it warmed my cold dead heart to a sufficient degree
