Happily Never After by Lynn Painter

lighthearted

3.0

Two things I really liked about this book:
1. It was set in Nebraska! Not NYC, not California, just a nice midwestern state.
2. These were normal people! Yes, they had good jobs, but they weren’t m/billionaires. He drove an F250 and wore steel toe boots. She needed roommates to afford her apartment.

The audio was well done. I believe these were both new-to-me narrators and both did a great job. I’d definitely like to listen to more of the male narrator.

Overall a good book. Nothing ground breaking that I feel like it will stay with me forever (where I would give 4 or 5 stars), but no obvious faults or issues (where I would give 1 or 2 stars). A solid 3 star read.
