I really enjoyed this book. It was extremely predictable but in the best way possible. Piper and Brendan both had a lot of depth, though I wish there would have been a little more discussion of Piper’s past. Also pipers mother is never really held accountable for how she harmed the girls from keeping them away from their past.
I really liked how insightful Brendan was, and how he could see through Piper’s walls. I also liked how his first marriage was discussed matter of factly.
The only thing I didn’t like was how Hannah was written almost like a child. She is a 25 year old woman with a degree and a job, and is by all accounts more mature than piper, but the interactions between the sisters was like an adult sibling and a much much younger teen sibling.
Overall good book, I will read more by this writer

Everything about this book worked for me. I love Piper. I love Brendan’s acts of service ass. I love Westport. I loved getting to see them grow to realize that they loved each other. I loved seeing Piper falling in love with Westport. I loved everything. Ok maybe because I’ve only read one other Tessa Bailey book, but I was not expecting the sex scenes to be so filthy. I have no choice but to stan.
I will say imthat I wish we had heard from her mom more. She gave her that warning and then we heard nothing from her regarding Piper’s relationship with Brendan?? Also, we didn’t get an Opal and Mom reunion
