The story overall was entertaining and got me out of my 3 month reading slump. The ending was a little lackluster and I wanted the death of a certain character to be more satisfying than what we got in the book. I also predicted the twisted that lead to the unsatisfied ending of said character. It is a good read and recommend it people who like Greek mythology retellings and somewhat dark romance like myself. I will continue to read the series as I know now to lower my expectations and enjoy the stories as intended.

Mi primer dark romance bien cargado de spicy, además es un retelling de Hades y Persefone. La historia no es demasiado compleja, pero he conectado con el personaje de Hades bastante bien y hubo escenas que me encantaron.

It was a fine *retelling* of Hades and Persephone. I did get like full on 50 Shades vibes, it's been so long since I read that but it felt like almost identical at some points. I will read the next book but eventually not in a rush.

It’s was a fun read with the 13 gods. Wish Hades would have been a bit more evil and hard to break in the beginning.
