honestly all my favourite things are present in this book! i was (and still am) a sucker for the film how to train your dragon and when i heard that this book was about dragons I.WAS.SOLD! SO my biased five stars review!

Was it entertaining? Yes. Did I, at any point if the book, know where it was going? No. The characters don't really have any depth and are annoying, the whole relationship between Xaden and Violet was just based on how mysterious and dark Xaden is. I don't think they really had any conversation, just at some point they wanted to fuck and suddenly they have all complex feelings. Just entertaining, but not particularly good.
