I missed the original hype on this but throughly enjoyed listening to this in audio book. It felt honest and genuine, recognising past behaviour while also giving the very important context for it. Conservatorships are crazy, I’m angry that this could happen - no only did Britney’s family fail her but the system did too.

So heartbreaking what she went through and I'm mourning for who she could have been if she weren't forced into that situation 💔 But also so happy she's out of it now. Anyone judging her actions -- now and in the past -- should read this first. Team Britney forever!

It's heartbreaking. It's great to hear her story in her own words. I am young so many of the events talked about in the book I was too young to have fully comprehended. Learning about those things from her perspective versus how it is mentioned in pop culture opens your eyes.
