Oh boy…
Things are not always what they may appear to be. Wonderfully interesting twists and turns.

I loved this book! Deliciously addictive. Funny, yet dealing with very serious issues that women (and men) face. The three main characters were wonderfully drawn and immensely relatable. This is my first Liane Moriarty book but it won't be my last.

First, I have to confess, I already watched the show before I read this. It was when it first came out so 5(?) years ago. I did not remember much except for the big reveal.
The characters were a little too whiny for my taste but I adore them anyway. It’s a good mystery, who dies, how, why. I liked the side story as well. Though I hate to think about bullying and children abusing each other.
The adults were more childish than any other characters in this book but I lived for their drama. And, at the end, when everything plays out nicely for everyone.. That’s my favorite part.
Ed was the best husband but I hated how in the end he was the weak link.
I loved Jane. She was a great mother with many issues that she somehow barely projected to her child. I don’t know any put together parents like her.
The children were a great addition to this story. I also loved the friendships the children and the adults forged with their peers.
I want to rewatch the show now.

Fantastic read! This is the first book I have read from this author & have to admit I couldn't put it down. Amazing read from start to finish. Very highly recommended & totally different to anything I've read before. Will definitely be reading more by this author & we be looking out for the tv series that is currently being filmed. A must read for any mum as you will certainly relate to the playground dynamics :)
